This is nothing new, just an example of what's gone on for decades. The problem is, it's becoming more and more-our problem

The volume of incorrect information, content, application, and perception of SB1070 is .... mind boggling. Such drama, based in no logic whatsoever. BC, we're right back at the political correctness issue again. Wouldn't it be so refreshing to shout back at all the protesters to "shut the hell up and drop down to the ground and kiss it, in gratitude for having the privilege of enjoying the benefits of living in the United States."
SB1070 wording is 99% identical to the Federal law. I have read it, front to back. There are provisions to prosecute those who, including law enforcement personnel, attempt to mis-apply it --- class 3 felony! But you won't see that in the news.
Many are complaining about having to produce proof of identity upon request. If YOU or ME got pulled over an hour from now, we would be asked for three different forms of identification: license, registration, and proof of insurance. What's the big deal. If here legitimately, they should be eager to comply with any request to verify this.
Jan Brewer would kick Obama's arse in a good street fight - she's got balls twice the size of his!!! haha

pssssh, that was a few years ago, everything is better now...
I have previously seen that video many a time...takes some balls to work that area. It was in the media fold during our "kinder gentler nation" period, all efforts were quashed. Vacation homes in Cancun, Ixtapa, oil, who knows the real issue(s) preventing the border issues from being corrected

Yes, it's old, but demonstrates a point. There are many, many more examples (current ones - as in a murdered AZ rancher) that lend substance to the premise that being here illegally (hmmm... "illegal"...) means you should be subjected to great scrutiny, when possible, and all resources brought to bear on identifying and resolving the issue.

Yes Sir, while the Officer was lucky enough to escape with his life(the video got plenty of airtime on tv) it's truly more relevant now. I'm sure Immigration reform will be thrown into the "I'm going to,we need to, the American people deserve, blah blah blah" until November passes...then what? I can't wait to see how many tax dollars are blown trying define the consitutionality of a bill that's already firmly based on constitutional rights. Whomever is persuing the Latino vote will decry SB1070 then throw them under the bus when the issue arises again. Just like Iraq, I voted for it, um er I said it was a bad idea, um er George Bush is an idiot, um er we needed to remove the tyrant, um er we need to bring our troops home, um er we need to maintain security...
